Ask Neeti how was it recording for ‘Indiawaale’ and she reveals, ”After I recorded the song I got to know it is for HAPPY NEW YEAR. And I have also sung the Tamil and Telugu version of this song. It was a great experience. I love the song because we have very few songs like ‘Indiawaale’ which bring in lot of patriotism. Songs like ‘Indiawaale’, ‘Chak De India’, ‘Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo’ etc. are very motivating. I feel very proud to have sung this. I am looking forward to it because I know people will like it as it will bring lot of enthusiasm. It makes people feel one and brings in unity.”

Now that she is part of ‘Indiawaale’, ask her if she has also crooned another song for Deepika Padukone in the HAPPY NEW YEAR album and she says, ”In ‘Indiawaale’, I am Deepika Padukone’s voice. And rahi baat dusre song ki, then I think I wouldn’t be the right person to reveal that.”

‘Indiawaale’ is sung by Vishal Dadlani, Shankar Mahadevan, KK and Neeti Mohan and features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah. HAPPY NEW YEAR, directed by Farah Khan and produced by Red Chillies, is slated to release this Diwali.
